HALCYON AND BONANZA
Halcyon means happy, peaceful, tranquil, and idyllic. Bonanza means wealth, good fortune, and profits. “HAB indicates ‘HALCYON AND BONANZA,’ which reflects our organizational ideology, i.e., ‘Blend of a happy and peaceful phase of life with wealth and prosperity.’.” In Short it Means “Prosperity with Peace.”

Our Story
The Journey of HAB Biomass Pvt Ltd.
In a small village near Pune, a child once held fire in his hands, ready to burn agricultural waste, as everyone around him did. But he wondered, “What if there’s another way? What if this waste could become something valuable?” This question ignited his vow to find a solution.
As he grew, he recognized that agro waste management and rural upliftment were at the heart of many pressing issues—pollution, unemployment, poverty, and housing shortages. He believed that “Gaon ka vikas hi desh ka vikas hai (The development of villages is the development of the nation). If rural communities thrive, the nation will prosper.
At HAB Biomass, the mission expanded beyond waste conversion; it became about addressing deep-rooted challenges. By transforming agricultural waste into biomass pellets, briquettes, and biochar, they aimed to create sustainable alternatives, reduce carbon emissions, and empower rural communities.
But one person alone cannot solve these issues. It requires the collective effort of every youth. If we each take responsibility for our part, we can tackle these challenges together, building a strong, sustainable, and inclusive nation.

Our Solution: A Decentralised Platform for Agro and Biomass Waste Processing
Village-Level Sourcing
We procure agricultural and biomass waste directly from farmers through our Village-Level Collection Centers (VLCC). This approach ensures the raw material is collected efficiently and supports local farmers by providing them an additional revenue stream.
On-site Processing
Our innovative mobile units travel to the source of agro and biomass waste. These units convert the waste into pellets, briquettes, and engineered biochar on-site, using state-of-the-art technology. This decentralized model minimizes transportation costs and carbon emissions.
